Orange Indicating Silica Gel

Silica Gel has a high absorbent capacity. Standard grades of silica can absorb 40% of their own weight of water. The benefit of using orange silica gel is that it changes to pale yellow when saturated, unlike standard gel. It can also be used alone or add a 10% mix to standard gel. Both types can be reconditioned by heating for 3 hours at 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
